About Our Partnership

What is the Letaba T.V.E.T College Partnership About?

The College proudly reflects on its achievements during 2016 up to 2025, a year marked by significant progress in student development and industry engagement. Through strategic funding from various Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs)—and public entities. The College successfully placed 1600 in year 2024 students with host employers to complete their qualifications via internships. This initiative not only enhanced academic outcomes but also provided students with invaluable exposure to the professional world.

Simultaneously, the College extended its efforts to include lecturers’ placements within industry settings. This forward-thinking approach was designed to ensure that educators remain aligned with current market trends, thereby enriching the classroom experience with practical insights. Students, in turn, gained a clearer understanding of workplace expectations and dynamics.

The College is deeply appreciative of the robust partnerships formed with a diverse array of institutions, which played a pivotal role in these successes. These collaborations reflect a shared commitment to nurturing talent, fostering innovation, and driving community upliftment through education.

In another landmark achievement, the Greater Tzaneen Municipality generously donated a parcel of land to the College, earmarked for the development of a Central Office. This gesture underscores the Municipality’s belief in the College’s mission and its role in shaping the future of education in the region.

The College has also deepened its engagement with Local Traditional Councils, fostering mutual respect and collaboration. These relationships are vital in ensuring that Skills Development initiatives are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and aligned with community.

Through the coordinated efforts of its internal departments, the College has cultivated strong partnerships with a wide range of Institutions and SETAs. These collaborations are focused on addressing educational challenges, enhancing skills development, and contributing meaningfully to South Africa’s broader socio-economic goals.
